I found Sedaris’ piece, Solution to Saturday’s Puzzle, entertaining and somewhat funny. I thought the part where he discussed how he worked on the crossword puzzle and thought other people would be impressed at how quickly he could complete the puzzle was funny. Also, it was funny that he wasn’t even filling out the puzzle correctly, he was only writing mean things about the woman sitting next to him. The story was interesting and was better than some of the other things we have read, but I wouldn’t consider it to be a really funny piece.
Joke:
Little Johnny goes to his father and asks, "Dad, is god a man or a woman?"
His Dad replies, "Johnny, both. God is both."
Johnny asks, "Dad, is god black or white?'
His Dad says, "Both. God is both."
Ok, then Johnny asks, "Dad, is Michael Jackson God?"
